Italy offers literally everything—dreamlike beaches with cliffs, Alpine peaks, and the most beautiful European lakes.

Northern Italy is a unique region – elegant villas, a combination of lakes, and Alpine landscapes. All of this makes Lake Como a wonderful idea that can be achieved in many different ways and regardless of your budget.

There's always a human being on the other side of every business. Especially in the wedding industry, communication and collaboration are key. Organizing an elopement can be a bit stressful, so it's important to choose someone you truly trust. How can you do this?
Talk. Don't be afraid to ask questions; share your vision and ideas. As a photographer, one of my jobs (arguably the most important) is to provide you with the best possible elopement reportage. That's why I always emphasize with my clients: let's talk, let's ask. This is my core for defining what your day should look like through the eyes of your elopement photographer.
From the perspective of a photographer who lives in Italy, I will show you how this issue looks based on the entire year:
Winter - low season and period from November to February: The advantages of organizing an elopement during this period include lower prices, a wider selection of available spots, and a much smaller number of tourists. However, this is also a period when various renovations are often taking place, and not all spots are open (especially in southern Italy). And most importantly, the weather. In Italy, it can be cold, windy, and rainy during this period. Therefore, if you decide to go during this period, it's worth carefully considering the appropriate location. An elopement organized in winter can be a wonderful experience, but it's important to keep an eye on all weather conditions and local conditions.
Spring - time from March to May: It's a great time to plan your getaway. It's warmer now (though local rains can still occur), and there are fewer tourists than in summer. In some places, May is the last month to avoid high temperatures. Spring is a wonderful time to organize the Elopement in Italy.
Summer – the high season (l'alta stagione) – from June to August: Summer is all what the Italian dolce vita brings the best – sunshine, a relaxing vibe, days off, long days, and hot, long evenings. Remember, however, that when planning a summer elopement, it's worth organizing everything in advance. With good organization, a summer elopement in Italy will bring you unforgettable moments, allowing you to experience the essence of Italy.
Elopement is the opposite of large, formal wedding celebrations. It's a small, intimate celebration of love with only your closest friends or family members. The words of your vows, the circumstances of what you want to say to each other—you can define it all however you like. When choosing to escape to Italy, you have a choice of various regions, each offering completely different experiences. Different cuisine, different scenery, and even different approaches to life.
When deciding to get married abroad, think about what you would like to take away from the experience.
Regardless of the month of your elopement in Italy, start preparing at least 6 months in advance to ensure your elopement in Italy is exactly what you want. Remember that even photo shoots in villas often need to be booked several months in advance due to high demand from photographers.
I have selected for you a few special locations that I recommend as a photographer. Each one is different, but truly unique. And each one provide an unforgettable experience. From local photographer perspective - let's chose the best location for you
An elopement in the Dolomites can guarantee breathtaking views you won't find elsewhere in Europe. Contrary to appearances, organizing an elopement isn't complicated. It's the perfect solution for mountain and nature lovers. I especially recommend the areas around Brunico, Bolzano, Lago di Braies, and Val di Funes.
By getting in touch with me, I’ll also tell you about the most breathtaking spots where we can take unique photos – some of them I keep a secret just for my clients!
Elopement by Lake Como is a amazing option for anyone aiming for northern Italy. It’s a combination of elegance and Italian style at its finest, most timeless expression. In the case of Lake Como, you have access to stunning villas and hotels, and the photos you take there will impress everyone.
Lake Garda and Verona are places that can be an absolutely magical alternative to your elopement in Italy. Both places, located east of Milan, are exceptional. Lake Garda offers wonderful hotels and stunning views. And Verona? Can you think of any city in Italy with a more romantic history than this one?
